When installing NOAH 3.6 on a Vista computer with a 64-bit OS you will see: “Failed to install pre-requisite software …”

While installing NOAH 3.6.1, you may receive a error during the prerequisite installation. (Errors 945, 1603, 1605, 1625, 1706,28086, 29552). If the install fails, do not assume that NOAH must be uninstalled via add/remove programs in order to upgrade to NOAH 3.6.1. Instead, please take some time to look up the error code on this page and follow the tips provided. If the error code is not listed please contact your NOAH support representative.

Logging into NOAH 3.6.1 results in one or more of these error messages.

Installing NOAH System 3.5.2, or earlier, on Windows Vista will result in errors.

This error occurs on an upgrade to NOAH 3.6.1. An install shield issue causes a remnant of an earlier NOAH to not be removed completely.
